1.35:1 close-ratio works

1.35:1 close-ratio works great in any Big Twin. More pull in third and better second-to-third shift. Still permits use of speedometer 11 drive gear. 11.34 Andrews Gears for 4-Speed Transmissions Made from stronger-than-stock alloy steel, and heat-treated where necessary. Close-ratio sets come complete with installation instructions. First Gear Close-Ratio Sets 2.44 close-ratio set is best for FXs. The 2.60 ratio is best for FLs. Both sets provide a higher first gear and eliminate second gear clunk, and allow use of a larger engine sprocket for easier starting.
